Licensed Professional Counselor
Hello. I am Brittney McBride.
I am a McKendree University graduate with a Masters in Professional Counseling. My clinical work began with adolescents in an inpatient setting. Those served struggled with substance abuse and at times criminal charges. I then continued my work at a community mental health center working with individuals with severe and chronic mental illnesses including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and other related conditions. I have practiced as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in private practice for five years. During my time working in private practice, I have had the pleasure and privilege to work with families, couples, children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults with varying conditions including
-
substance use disorders
-
depression
-
anxiety
-
PTSD
-
